Malabari goat

Malabari goat known for its prolificacy as well as meat and milk production had the status of a recognised breed. All experiments of crossbreeding Malabari with exotic goats were discouraging and this led to the national policy of Conservation, Selection and Genetic improvement of important breeds. Malabari is getting its due share. Trust is working together with the farmers towards this.
